Hasbro has finally stepped up and will meet demand for a Black Series Force FX Elite Rey Skywalker Lightsaber. Priced at $264.99, this new lightsaber is now available for pre-order at Entertainment Earth with free shipping.
The Rey Skywalker lightsaber is based on its brief appearance during the closing moments of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Rather than carry the lightsabers of recently departed Luke and Leia Skywalker, Rey chose to forge a new yellow blade.
Hasbro is utilizing advanced sound and LED tech for the Rey Skywalker Force FX Elite lightsaber. It has a twist-to-ignite feature, blaster deflection and battle effects, and even a molten tip effect.
The blade can be removed with the small triangular prongs resting alongside it snapping back into the hilt for a different unlit look. The hilt features cloth wrappings as seen in the film with frayed edges designed to look more worn with use.
Also included is a stand to showoff Rey Skywalker’s lightsaber when not in use.
