Long before Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan was portrayed by John Krasinski and took on Suleiman and government corruption in Venezuela, Alec Baldwin inhabited the role and helped stop the start of World War III.
The Hunt for Red October co-starring Sean Connery, Sam Neill, Scott Glenn, Tim Curry and James Earl Jones alongside Baldin in the titular role was the first Jack Ryan media project born out of the immensely popular Tom Clancy book series.
This year the film celebrates its 30th anniversary, so Paramount is re-releasing the 4K Ultra HD edition in an exclusive Steelbook package on February 25th, 2020.
