Martin Scorsese got a standing ovation at the 2020 Academy Awards when Best Picture winner writer/director Bong Joon Ho called him out as a major inspiration during his acceptance speech.
Incidentally, Scorsese’s Shutter Island starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Max von Sydow, and Michelle Williams is about to make its 4K Ultra HD debut in a Steelbook case via Paramount Home Entertainment on February 11th.
