Paramount Home Entertainment have officially announced via social media, confirming earlier rumors, that the Indiana Jones 4-Movie Collection is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray with Digital copies on a June 8th, 20201 release date.
Update: Amazon has begun taking pre-orders for $90.99. Expect a price drop before release; any pre-order made now will get the lowest price prior to release.
In addition to the first pic of the set seen above, Paramount offers this description, “All 4 films are remastered from 4K scans of the original negatives with extensive visual effects work done to ensure the most pristine and highest quality image, as approved by director Steven Spielberg.” Picture tech specs are verified to include Dolby vision and HDR-1o.
Paramount also states that “all four films were remixed at Skywalker Sound under the supervision of legendary sound designer Ben Burtt to create the Dolby Atmos soundtracks. All original sound elements were used to achieve the fully immersive Dolby Atmos mixes while staying true to each film’s original creative intent.”
