AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead Season 3 premiere debuts tonight with the episode ‘Eye of the Beholder’, two months later than the previous two seasons. Teases have promised zombies galore and potentially a major death so strap in and get ready for action both north and south of the border. A twist ending to last season’s finale saw Nick and Luciana leading the Colonia north from Mexico and into the United States. As they attempted to push through the border crossing, armed militants attacked and put a bullet into Luciana’s lower abdomen.
We already know that Luciana survives the initial attack and Nick will try to lead her to safety. After that is up in the air. Will the militants capture them both? Is the rest of Colonia dead from the attack?
Madison and Travis are on the heels of Nick at Colonia and headed in the same direction. They’ve still got a ways to go in order to reunite with their son and the odds of their passage being safe are next to none.
Meanwhile Strand chose to stay behind at the beachfront hotel and Ofelia was captured by an armed man just north of the border. Both of those characters are completely separated from the main cast. At least for now.
The official synopsis for tonight’s Fear The Walking Dead Season 3 premiere episode reads, “The Clark family find themselves in a dire predicament and must work together to discover a path to safety.” Remember that The Talking Dead after show will immediately follow tonight’s premiere.
