Our first official look at The Walking Dead Season 6 is in stark contrast to the idyllic peace those living behind the walls of Alexandria have enjoyed since the zombie apocalypse first began. That tends to happen when Rick Grimes is around, especially after the measures he took in the Season 5 finale.
The first three The Walking Dead Season 6 photos comes courtesy of EW and feature Glenn (Steven Yeun), Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Daryl (Norman Reedus), Each is taken in bright daylight in front of green foliage and possibly the houses of Alexandria, and each features its character armed with a weapon.
In the case of Glenn and Maggie, they have their weapons drawn and are taking aim at something or someone. I’ll speculate that they’re partaking in some kind of target practice to train the people of Alexandria in case the new threat, the Wolves, should attack. Morgan and Daryl should have already debriefed Rick on what type of people they’re dealing with.
We should get our first The Walking Dead Season 6 trailer later this week after it debuts at Comic-Con in San Diego. AMC has been predictable in releasing the Comic-Con trailers each year within minutes of their debut at the big show during The Walking Dead panel. I would expect the first Fear The Walking Dead trailer to debut the same time.
