Netflix has released the final Luke Cage Season 2 trailer that splinters the spotlight onto some of the other characters set to play a big part in where the story of Harlem’s hero goes next.
The trailer pays special attention to Mariah Dillard, one of the first season’s villains who finds herself in the cross hairs of a new threat in Season 2.
That threat is Bushmaster, another powered individual ready to give Luke a run for his money. Bushmaster has links to Mariah’s past and information she’d rather not get out. Saving her may end up being in Luke and Harlem’s best interest.
Luke Cage Season 2 premieres exclusively on Netflix beginning Friday, June 22nd. All 13 new episodes will drop on that date.
