FX isn’t shying away from giving us disturbing little glimpses of American Horror Story: Freak Show with the latest bringing new meaning to the term, “confined.”
The latest American Horror Story: Freak Show Caged teaser via EW features a trapped woman, most likely a contortionist of some sort, stuffed into a bird cage like meat into a Hot Pocket. She’s got freaky blue hand syndrome going on and I have no idea what that means. There’s also a man with extremely bony fingers and apparently the ability to keep this poor woman calm while she mimics a piece of luggage.
The tag line for this trailer reads simply, “birds of a feather flock together…”
American Horror Story: Freak Show will premiere a little over a month from now on October 8. It stars recent Emmy winners Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates, along with Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Evan Peters, Denis O’Hare, Frances Conroy, and newcomer Michael Chiklis.
