Watch NFL Free Live Online Stream on ESPN: Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Redskins

The first primetime NFL Monday Night Football game of the 2013 preseason brings week two to a conclusion with the Pittsburgh Steelers continuing their NFC East tour by facing the Washington Redskins on the road. Robert Griffin III (RG3) will continue to sit for Washington while he rehabs his knee, while the Steelers running back starting job remains up for grabs. NFL free live streaming instructions for tonight’s game with an 8/7c start time are at the conclusion of this post.

Pittsburgh lost to the New York Giants 18-13 in week one as Victor Cruz torched them for a huge touchdown and their special teams gave up a blocked punt. Defensive and special teams execution is something Mike Tomlin is expected to stress in tonight’s game as both areas need improvement before the regular season starts.

The Steelers and their fans would love to see rookie running back Le’Veon Bell in the game, but his sore knee that kept him out of the first game was tweaked again in practice and he’s unlikely to play again tonight. That means Isaac Redman and Jonathan Dwyer will get another chance to fight Bell for the starting job, though neither impressed in last week’s loss.

Redskins coach Mike Shanahan continues to tell reporters that Robert Griffin III will not play in the preseason and that promise will continue tonight with Kirk Cousins starting the game. Cousins impressed last week with a touchdown pass and only one incompletion during his time with the first string offense. His destiny seems to point toward a permanent starting spot somewhere in the future.

Washington only beat the Titans by one point and let Chris Johnson bust off a 58-yard touchdown run. Shonn Green tacked on a 19-yarder so Shanahan and his coaching staff will likely make adjustments to all of their defensive packages tonight. It should be noted that Washington sat 8 of 22 starters for the first preseason game, yet still won.

Tonight’s first NFL Monday Night Football game featuring the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers taking on the Washington Redskins can be viewed on TV on ESPN in high definition (HD). A free live online streaming version of tonight’s football game will be available to watch for channel subscribers here on ESPN3 on mobile phones, iPads, laptops, and other Internet devices.

The NFL also offers a preseason package for $14.99 that grants access to live online streaming of all preseason games.

I predict Kirk Cousins and the Redskins will shine in primetime and send the Steelers packing with a second loss.
