Watch Bates Motel Season 2 Premiere Online Live Stream Episode 201 ‘Gone But Not Forgotten’ on A&E Network

Watch Bates Motel Season 2 Premiere Online Live Stream Episode 201 'Gone But Not Forgotten' on A&E NetworkBates Motel Season 2 gets underway officially on A&E tonight following the brutal and tragic events of the Season 1 finale that capped an engrossing freshman season centered primarily around young Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) and his overprotective mother, Norma (Vera Farmiga).

When we last left Norman, he had attended his big school dance where Emma realized he still had strong feelings for Bradley and not so much for her. Of course Bradley, played by Nicola Peltz (Transformers: Age of Extinction), doesn’t dig Norman the way he thinks she does, even after the pair had a one-night stand. Norman’s state of mind at the party is already a bit sketchy.

When Norman goes after Bradley at the party, he ultimately ends up getting punched in the face by Bradley’s ex-boyfriend. As a result, Miss Watson (Keegan Connor Tracy), who always seemed to have a strange attraction to Norman despite being his school teacher, took Norman back to her home to clean him up. And that would be the final mistake of Miss Watson’s life.

While Norman was waiting for Miss Watson to get changed, and she made sure that he could see her naked through the open bedroom door, Norman went off into one of his visions, this time of his mother scolding the teacher for being naughty. Norman then went into his rage trance, or whatever you want to call it, and started toward Miss Watson. The next time we see her she’s dead on the floor. Watch Bates Motel online streaming tonight to see how Miss Watson’s murder affects Norman and Norma.

The next time we see Norman he’s sprinting down the road, at night, in the rain, to get home when Norma picks him up. Norma had her own challenging evening as Sheriff Romero showed up at her meeting with Abernathy and took care of the problem by murdering him. Mum is the word, and now we know that although Romero is one shady sheriff, he has Norma’s back as long as it is in his interest to do so.

Norma and Dylan have been at odds the entire season, ever since Dylan showed up looking for refuge as the Bates Motel’s main house. In the Season 1 finale, he finally had a bonding moment with mom over of all things, firearms. Dylan is no saint considering the line of business he has chosen to endulge in for the cash, but he seems like the sanest character amongst the insane cast.

The big question heading into tonight’s Bates Motel Season 2 premiere is whether Sheriff Romero will suspect Norman in Miss Watson’s murder, and whether he’ll figure out who did the deed and turn a blind eye. This is assuming that Norman was the murderer at all considering we never saw him do it, but it’s hard to imagine it wasn’t him to last lay hands on Miss Watson.

Tonight’s Bates Motel Season 2 premiere official synopsis reads, “Norman fixates on the death of Miss Watson. The economic livelihood of the motel is threatened when Norma finds out the bypass is moving forward, ahead of schedule. Bradley’s hunt for her father’s killer drives her to dangerous extremes.”
