The Avengers Deleted Scene with Bruce Banner from Upcoming Blu-ray Release

The Avengers Deleted Scene with Bruce Banner from Upcoming Blu-ray ReleaseThat old security guard who found Bruce Banner in The Avengers was originally written to provide a lot more than comedic relief in Joss Whedon’s superhero blockbuster.

A newly revealed deleted scene from the upcoming The Avengers Blu-ray and DVD release shows Banner (Mark Ruffalo) get dressed and climb down from the rubble he created when smashing through the ceiling of an old warehouse as Hulk. The security guard (Harry Dean Stanton) asks Banner if he’s the big guy or the little guy, and Banner realizes he doesn’t know the answer.

The guard then asks Banner if he has somewhere to go. He does, Stark Tower, but he doesn’t want to go. With some timely advice, the guard sends Banner on his way by presumably giving him the little scooter that the superhero shows up on in New York City.

The Avengers and Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase One will both debut on Blu-ray on September 25.
