Star Trek: The Video Game Gets Authenticity Featurette

Star Trek: The Video Game Gets Authenticity FeaturetteStar Trek: The Video Game beams into stores next weekend to serve as an interactive bridge between the first and second J.J. Abrams Star Trek films. As such, a great deal of effort went into ensuring the game’s environments and presentation mirrored those of the films.

Publishers Namco Bandai has released a new making-of featurette that delves into the game’s authenticity, from the characters to the ships to the environments. We already knew Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto provided the voices of Kirk and Spock, respectively. The featurette goes on to talk about the rest of the Enterprise crew acting group including John Cho, Simon Pegg, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban and Anton Yelchin also lending their voices to the game.

Star Trek: The Video Game is set for release next Tuesday, April 23 on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
