Spy Kids 4: All The Time In The World Blu-ray 3D Already Dated

Spy Kids 4: All The Time In The World starring Jessica Alba and Antonio Banderas has been in theaters for less than a week and Amazon.com is already taking pre-orders for a Blu-ray 3D combo pack complete with a November 22, 2011 release date. A week earlier, Lionsgate Home Entertainment will re-release the previous three Spy Kids films together in one package for the first time.

According to the listing, Spy Kids 4 on Blu-ray 3D will also include the Blu-ray 2D, DVD and digital copy versions. Each version will get its own disc so you’re looking at a four-disc set.

The fourth Spy Kids film in the series and first since 2003 arrived with a whimper at the box office its opening weekend of August 19, 2011. Playing on over 3,500 screens and benefiting from 3D ticket surcharges, it could only muster up $11.6 million in ticket sales through its first weekend. Spy Kids 3D: Game Over made over $33 million its opening weekend.

Director Robert Rodriguez employed Aroma-Scope for Spy Kids 4: All The Time In The World, a scratch-and-sniff gimmick to make the film “4D.” We won’t know if the Blu-ray 3D combo pack will include a scratch-and-sniff card until Anchor Bay Home Entertainment makes their official announcement and details the discs.
