It is not widely publicized on their website, but I was able to test it out by placing three figures in the cart and beginning the checkout process. Sure enough, when you get to the final page of checkout, the third figure — the lowest priced of the three — is absolutely free! Skylanders Swap Force will be not only one of the most gifted video games this holiday season, but toys in general. As such it’s a hot item in any Black Friday 2013 deal, and Amazon.com will be first out of the gate today with a lightning deal.
At 2:20pm EST / 11:20pm PST, Amazon.com will be offering the Skylanders Swap Force Starter Pack at a sale price. It’s unknown what the sale price will be or even which platforms of the game will be offered, but the Skylanders Swap Force Wii Starter Pack is featured in the preview image. At minimum that version will be on sale.
Amazon previously ran a Skylanders Swap Force Starter Pack sale for $38 a piece and it was a huge hit. I have a sneaking suspicion that today’s Thanksgiving Day Black Friday sale will be the same price.

There are some other Skylanders Swap Force Black Friday deals going on at various other retails. GameStop is knocking $20 off the Skylanders Swap Force Dark Edition Starter Pack for Wii to bring it down to $79.99. On Friday only they are selling the Wii Starter Pack for $49.99, which happens to be what Amazon is selling it for right now before the sale. They are also offering a free backpack with a Skylanders Swap Force Wii U bundle purchase.
Target and Best Buy are running a buy two, get one free on all Skylanders characters including Swap Force. Expect the aisles for these toys to be decimated after this sale. Best Buy is also selling all Skylanders Swap Force Starter Packs for $49.99, including the newly released PS4 and Xbox One versions.
The cheapest Skylanders Swap Force Starter Pack deal will be Thursday night at Walmart where all versions including PS4 and Xbox One are on sale for $38.96. This deal also applies to Disney Infinity Starter Packs.
