Mondo is tackling a series of posters based on Marvel’s The Avengers film, six designated for characters Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye and Black Widow, with a seventh dedicated to an “assembled” shot of the team.
A different Mondo artist is tackling each 24″ x 36″ poster to offer their own visual style and flair. The first two have been revealed and are ready for you to praise below.
First up is Black Widow from Mondo artist Olly Moss. Its beauty is in its simplicity with the signature red hair and a smoking gun forming Scarlett Johansson’s nose. This poster will be limited to 320 pieces and will be available for sale beginning tomorrow, April 19.
Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye is the second poster in the Mondo The Avengers series, designed by Tom Whalen. He’s even more limited than Black Widow with a run of 220 pieces. Look for him on sale this Friday, April 20.
