Disney’s $150 million flop Mars Needs Moms is coming to Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD on August 9 in hopes of adding to the pathetic $20.9 million it made at the North American box office.
Details on the film that put the kibosh on Robert Zemeckis’ previously planned next foray into motion capture, a remake of The Beatles Yellow Submarine, have not been released by Disney as of yet but are expected to cross the wires shortly. Based on pre-order listings at Amazon.com, it can be safely assumed that the Blu-ray 3D version combo with Blu-ray and DVD has an SRP of $49.99 and the Blu-ray 2D version combo with DVD $27.99.
