In between working on massive The Avengers films for Marvel, Joss Whedon quickly shot a more intimate and personal project in the form of his modern version of Shakespeare’s classic Much Ado About Nothing. That film is now confirmed to be making its Blu-ray and DVD debut on October 8.
To bring Much Ado About Nothing to the big screen, Whedon recruited many familiar faces from his past projects including Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Reed Diamond, Nathan Fillion, Clark Gregg and Fran Kranz. It never expanded beyond 222 locations theatrically so home video should help expose it to a much wider audience.
The Much Ado About Nothing Blu-ray is presented in 1.78:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, and includes these extras:
