Hot Toys Hall of Armor Revealed for Iron Man Figures

Hot Toys Hall of Armor Revealed for Iron Man FiguresHot Toys is entering the diorama arena in 2013 to support their Marvel Cinematic Universe 1/6″ scale line of action figures. The first entry is Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) Hall of Armor available as four or seven section sets.

Each section of the Hall of Armor fits the Hot Toys Iron Man Mark 1-VII armored figures. They measure 13.5x9x6.75 inches, have LEDs, include 2 sets of stickers for each armor to place on the clear acrylic fronts to create a holographic look, and connect to create the full seven section Hall of Armor.

The unfortunate part of this reveal is how Hot Toys has bundled and priced the Hall of Armor together. There are two sets available; a four section set and a seven section set. The four section set is priced at $469.99 and the seven section set priced at $799.99. That seems awfully expensive for what amounts to identical plastic boxes with some LEDs and stickers.

Hot Toys is expected to ship Iron Man’s Hall of Armor in May 2013.
