Fighting with Channing Tatum Punches onto Blu-ray

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has revealed plans to release the Channing Tatum street drama Fighting to Blu-ray Disc on August 25.

Fighting will be offered in its original theatrical cut and a new unrated cut running three minutes longer on a single BD-50 disc. Video will be presented in 1.85:1 1080p resolution and audio in 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. D-BOX Motion Code will also be included.

Fighting’s bonus features are light with only deleted scenes, BD-Live access and a digital copy housed on a second disc represented.

Small-town boy Shawn MacArthur (Channing Tatum, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Public Enemies) knows firsthand that every day in New York City is a struggle to survive. So when scam artist Harvey Boarden (Terrence Howard, Iron Man, Hustle and Flow) gives him a chance to be something more in the brutal underground world of bare-knuckle street-fighting, Shawn decides that he has something worth fighting for and puts everything on the line to win. Every knockout brings him closer to the life he’s always wanted, but also traps him in a dangerous web he can’t escape.

Universal has set a $39.98 retail price for Fighting with Amazon.com pricing expected in the $28 range. Check back regularly for the Amazonpre-order link and high resolution cover art.
