‘EA Playground’ Announced For Nintendo Wii; First Screenshots

Electronics Arts continues its strong support of Nintendo Wii today by announcing ‘EA Playground,’ a new intellectual property, is currently in development at EA Canada.

At this time, only dodgeball and tetherball have been confirmed as playable games. I’m holding out slim hope for crab soccer. All the games included, whatever they may be, will make sure of the Wii’s remote for pick-up-and-play gaming, ala ‘Wii Sports.’

‘EA Playground’ should arrive in stores this fall.
