Dead Island: Riptide is loaded with various collectibles that offer reminders of life before the unfortunate zombie apocalypse. Sorry, there no hidden Skulls to track down find this time around. However, there are hidden dungeons called Dead Zones that while not a necessity to locate in order to complete the game, are a requirement to unlock the Hunter-Seeker Achievement and Trophy.
Each Dead Zone location is home to a Champion zombie that possesses a unique combination of attributes. These Champions are a little tougher to take down than your typical run-of-the-mill walker, but at the same time offer rewards and loot for their defeat.
There are a total of 13 Dead Zones and Champions hidden throughout Dead Island: Riptide. This handy text and video guide will aid you in finding where they are located. Some you might stumble across naturally through the course of playing the campaign. Others are a little more tucked away and difficult to spot.
Defeating all 13 Champions will award the Hunter-Seeker Achievement on Xbox 360 or Trophy on Playstation 3. Use the following Dead Island: Riptide Dead Zone locations guide to find and kill them all.
