Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Battlefield 4 and More Arrive

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Battlefield 4 ArriveGamers wallets should feel a little lighter after today with not one but two big triple-A titles arriving in stores.

Those who like a grandiose adventure will want to train their spyglass on Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The latest annual installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise goes south into the Caribbean where pirates, booze, women and riches are all plentiful. It is now available for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC, with Xbox One and PS4 versions coming next month timed to coincide with the launch of their respective consoles.

EA is after the first-person shooter gamers today with the debut of Battlefield 4. By now you have surely seen one of the clever “only in Battlefield 4” ads airing during one of the professional sporting events. Like Black Flag, next-gen versions are also coming next month.

These aren’t the only new games arriving today. 2K Sports has released WWE 2K14 for wrestling fans, and Sega has gone nostalgic in their pact with Nintendo to deliver Sonic: Lost World on Wii U and 3DS. Namco Bandai is offering up Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and 3DS, and Activision has brought Angry Birds Star Wars to all current-gen platforms.
