The set-up for 'Killer Within' is that someone has cut a chain on the prison gates, allowing some walkers free reign on the grounds. The sneak preview clip from the episode released earlier this week also reveals that the prison's sirens will sound. Rick and Glenn will try to silence the sirens with their pistols.
Those sirens going off are the turning point for the episode and I promise you will be on the edge of your seat from that moment forward. 'Killer Within' plays more like a series premiere or finale rather than just another episode. If there's one thing Season 3 of The Walking Dead has taught us so far is that there is little to no filler.
Some of you last week were complaining about the slower tempo an entire episode set at Woodbury brought about after two thrilling episodes set at the prison. "Killer Within' balances between the serenity of Woodbury and chaos of the prison, switching back and forth between a zombie infestation and promise of a better life by the Governor, a man with mysterious motives. Last week's complaints will not apply this week as there is plenty of action and some memorable zombie kills (sneak peek: Glenn has the best one).
The Walking Dead will not be the same show after the dust settles in 'Killer Within.' Several characters will find themselves staring at new roles, and others will not make it out of the episode unscathed. Prepare to be emotionally touched and be on the lookout for some subtle hints at what lies ahead.
The ideal way to watch tonight's episode of AMC's The Walking Dead is in HD via your cable or satellite provider. Some of you will not have access to a television set for whatever reason and will need to rely on a live streaming option. Unfortunately there's no go-to option for a free online live stream of 'Killer Within,' though one option is to search Justin.tv when the episode starts here. Amazon.com will also offer the episode in HD here shortly after it airs for $2.99.
