Nintendo's Animal Crossing: City Folk is a fantastic game to play with younger kids who can easily follow along with completing simple chores and eventually feel confident enough to create and manage their own little squawking character.

For today only, online retailer Amazon.com is selling Animal Crossing: City Folk for Nintendo Wii for only $19.98. That price is well below the nearly $50 suggested retail price.

The irony of the one-day only sale is that it falls on July 4th and, as Animal Crossing veterans know, holidays are a unique experience in the real-time tracking game.
