Sports, NBA and Boston Celtics Arrive on Blu-ray

A Boston Celtics 2007-2008 NBA Champions DVD was a given. A Blu-ray Disc treatment is an unexpected and pleasant surprise, especially for HDR Blu-ray reviewer Shawn who bleeds Celtics green.

Warner Home Video has announced NBA Champions 2007-2008: Boston Celtics is coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 4, marking the first-ever Blu-ray release from a major sports league.

The single-disc release will include exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and a courtside seat for the NBA Finals.

Audio and video tech specs are currently unconfirmed; however, a 1080p transfer is likely and the disc format is BD-25.
