 Source Code Blu-ray Release Date and DetailsMay 16, 2011 Summit Entertainment has announced that Duncan Jones' (Moon) sci-fi thriller Source Code has charted a path to Blu-ray and DVD on July 26.
Written by Ben Ripley, Source Code stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan and and Vera Farmiga in the story of a soldier (Gyllenhaal) who awakens in the body of another man destined to die in 8 minutes. It will be up to the soldier to relive those minutes over and over until he can stop a bomb from detonating on a speeding train. The Blu-ray edition of Source Code will include the exclusive supplement 'Access: Source Code,' a picture-in-picture feature that inserts interviews with the cast, expert opinions on time travel, trivia & more into the film. Those same snippets are likely going to be available separately as well, along with an audio commentary with Jake Gyllenhaal, Duncan Jones and Ben Ripley. Source Code on Blu-ray will be presented in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
