 SXSW 2010 Kicks Off with Kick-AssJanuary 06, 2010
Kick-Ass recently screened to the public for the first time at Butt-Numb-A-Thon and the lucky few in attendance showered it with praise.
The film stars Aaron Johnson as a nobody teen who decides to become a superhero despite not having any super powers. Co-starring are Chloë Grace Moretz as underage yet deadly Hit Girl, Nicolas Cage as her father Big Daddy, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Red Mist.
Lionsgate will release Kick-Ass in theaters on April 16.

It was announced this morning that the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival in Austin, Texas, will kick off with a screening of Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass on the evening of March 12.
