 Nicolas Cage as The Green Hornet Villain?July 21, 2009
Per Variety, the Ghost Rider actor is in early negotiations to play a "gangster villain" that will go up against Seth Rogen aka The Green Hornet.
Rogen co-wrote the script with Evan Goldberg.
Cameron Diaz is also in discussions for a Green Hornet role, that of a female reporter and love interest. The role of sidekick Kato remains open with Stephen Chow out of the picture.
Production will get underway this fall for a quick turnaround to a summer 2010 release.
