"Hot" Gears of War 2 Xbox 360 High-Res Screenshots

September is almost here which means we're one month closer to getting our grubby little hands on Epic's Xbox 360 exclusive Gears of War 2.

As Cliffy B and the team wrap up production and squash the last remaining bugs, more and more media is trickling out such as today's five new high resolution screenshots.

In the screens you get to go up close and personal with the Flameboomer. He's not your friend. In fact, he wants to cook you for a snack.

You also get to meet the Mauler, Reaver and pesky little Tickers, as well as stare in awe at a beauty shot overlooking the sinkhole level Cliffy demonstrated in real-time at E3.

Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2. We can't wait.
