 Hilary Duff Reading for Spider-Man Love Interest?September 08, 2010
In an article about hockey player Mike Comrie who happens to be Duff's husband, a script marked "Spider-Man" sits on their kitchen table with a specific role highlighted. "The kitchen contains evidence of their professional lives – his daily diet is posted on the fridge (from a bacon cheddar burrito for breakfast to five pigs-in-a-blanket as a nighttime snack) and a script marked "Spiderman" sits on the table," the article describes the Comrie house. "...With lines for a character simply called "girl" highlighted in yellow (rumours swirl about who Spidey's love interest will be in the series' next instalment.)"
The odds of the interviewer making up the part of the script are next to nil so I'm willing to buy into Duff being up for the unnamed role that could be the girl who will woo Andrew Garfield. What you wrap your head around is Mike Comrie potentially having already read the coveted Spider-Man reboot script. Some guys have all the luck.
