Gamer Coming to Blu-ray in January

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has revealed plans to bring the Gerard Butler thriller Gamer to Blu-ray Disc and DVD on January 19.

Gamer is set in the near-future where gaming has evolved into a high concept where people play video games with their own lives. Michael C. Hall (Dexter), Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges and Kyra Sedgwick co-star.

Gamer comes to Blu-ray Disc in 1080p video and either 5.1 or 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. D-BOX Motion Code will be included on the disc.

Bonus features on Blu-ray are highlighted by several exclusives, a couple of which are high concept for the format themselves.

• Commentary with the filmmakers and cast
• Making-Of documentary
• Featurette looking at the groundbreaking camera work
• I-Con Mode with expanded visual commentary (BD exclusive)
