GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra Trailer in HD is Here

Remember yesterday's French GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra trailer? I had a strong hunch that would be 100% identical to the promised US trailer scheduled to debut at MySpace Movies today. Sure enough, remove the subtitles and it's a perfect match.

At least with the official trailer release we get the high-def version you you can pause and study to your heart's content. Don't plan on spotting Cobra Commander as aside from his toy that character is being kept under tight wraps. My money is on his screen-time being limited to the closing minutes. After all, this is "The Rise of Cobra" and not "The Weather Dominator."

If you do put in some effort and look closely there's a split-second spoilerish scene involving Duke and The Baroness. Also keep an eye out for some arctic action.

GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra will help wind down this summer's box office on August 7.
