 Bolt, Sin City on Blu-ray Update: DTS-HD and D-BOX ConfirmedFebruary 04, 2009 Buena Vista Home Entertainment appears to be creating a pattern with their high profile Blu-ray Disc releases and we're all for it moving full steam ahead in 2009.
The first evidence of this pattern appeared when Buena Vista announced Sin City on Blu-ray with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio support. Buena Vista has been floundering between lossless audio formats for over two years so this move to DTS-HD came as a bit of a surprise. Further evidence of a pattern forming comes from the complete specs for Disney's Bolt which also includes DTS-HD Master Audio. Digging further uncovered Bolt will include D-BOX Motion Code embedded on the disc. I can also confirm Sin City will also include D-BOX ready to go out of the box.
