As previously reported, two Universal advertisements have confirmed Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series is on its way to Blu-ray Disc (and DVD, for that matter). The advertisement that appeared on Hulu even offered a July 28 release date. Beginning this weeekend, Amazon.com has begun taking pre-order sales for not only The Complete Series on Blu-ray Disc but Season 4.5 as well. The downer? They won't come cheap. Season 4.5 has an SRP of $69.98 and Amazon is selling it for $48.99. Keep in mind that is only 10 episodes so you'd be paying almost $5 per episode. Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series is a better deal but wallet-breaker nonetheless. Universal has set its SRP at $349.98 and Amazon is selling the set for $244.99. Keep in mind this set includes every episode and the extended cut of Razor.
