Jurassic World Trailer: Watch Chris Pratt Ride with Raptors

A Thanksgiving treat arrived early for movie fans withe unexpected delivery of Universal’s Jurassic World trailer two days before its previously published release date on Turkey day. This tease came only a few days after a brief Jurassic World tease arrived this past weekend.

You might have a few questions after the first time you watch the Jurassic World trailer. Was that a new dinosaur running through the woods, chasing presumably Chris Pratt’s character? How much screen-time will the kids get in the movie? Is the CGI complete? Because the water beast looks a little fake and rough around the edges.

And, the biggest question of them all, are the velociraptors running alongside Chris Pratt on a motorcycle trained to do so or running from something that has them freaked out? I’m leaning toward the “trained raptors” camp considering the park has been open for 10 years and there’s been ample time to teach the more intelligent dinosaurs, like the raptors as established in Jurassic Park, to take commands in exchange for their meals.

The Jurassic World trailer opens up a world where the park has been operational for years but needs new attractions to spur waning attendance. Thanks to a decade’s worth of research at the park headed by Bryce Dallas Howard’s character, a new hybrid dinosaur has been created that will surely put butts in the seat. That is if the new beast doesn’t eat everyone first.

Jurassic World, directed by Colin Trevorrow and executive-produced by Steven Spielberg, will be released on June 12, 2015 on traditional and 3D formats.
