New Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne images have come online following grainy images released a little over a week ago from the Detroit, Michigan set. These more recent images taken and posted online Friday are crystal clear and let us glimpse Batfleck in all his well-dressed middle-aged glory.
The 41-year old Affleck as Bruce Wayne has clearly visible grey in his long hair to support the recent news that this iteration of the character would be in his mid-40s. No live-action Bruce Wayne has looked so aged, and his years of wisdom and crime-fighting experience should go a long ways toward fighting toe-to-toe with Superman (Henry Cavill) and his super powers.
Just ignore the Nike kicks Affleck is wearing. I highly doubt those are part of the character’s wardrobe, unless Mr. Wayne is trying to make a bold fashion statement to the fine citizens of Metropolis.
Director Zack Snyder continues to film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in and around Detroit, Michigan, and miraculously has not allowed a single unofficial snapped image of Affleck as Batman, Cavill as Superman or Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman to be snapped by prying eyes. There’s still plenty of filming left and time for someone with set access to snap the superhero threesome image we’re all been waiting for.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice flies into theaters on its new release date of March 25, 2016.
