Ubisoft Announces Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Release Date on PS4, Xbox One and PC

Rainbow Six Siege Release Date

Everyone who has missed Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six franchise will be ecstatic to learn that Ubisoft has officially announced the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege release date on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC is set for Tuesday, October 13.

It has been 17 years since the original Rainbow Six first debuted and seven years since the last game in the franchise, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, was released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Rainbow Six Patriots was in development a few years ago but was ultimately scrapped for Siege.

Needless to say the wait has been long and at long last Rainbow Six is back with its first appearance on current-generation consoles.

As the game’s name implies, executing “sieges” on enemy strongholds will play a key role in the game’s narrative and strategy. Enemies will dig in deep when threats near requiring perfectly designed and executed sieges to get at them.
