The wait for Activision to announce Skylanders 5 has stretched out longer than any of the previous games. Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure and Skylanders Giants were unveiled at Toy Fair in February of their respective release years. Skylanders Swap Force and Skylanders Trap Team were already announced by this time during their release years. Skylanders 5 is still being kept under wraps.
What appears to be a first glimpse into the next chapter of Skylanders has popped up online in the form of a Skylanders 5 prototype figure. I am not going to discuss the attributes of this figure given what I already know about the upcoming game. I will share the image embedded from its source in imgur for you to look at below.
Accompanying this image was a slew of details about the game ranging from plot points to the game’s name. Again, I won’t address any of these details or even share them here, but I will simply say this: don’t believe everything you read.
