Project Cars is gearing up to begin its final lap as Namco Bandai today announced a November 18, 2014 release date for the racing game on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC. A Wii U version needs a little more work and won’t be ready to cross the checkered flag until sometime in 2015.
Competition will be stiff on the virtual asphalt this holiday season. In addition to Project Cars, Sony has a PS4 exclusive racing game in Drive Club arriving in North America on October 7, while Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners have Forza Horizon 2 to look forward to on September 30.
As a pre-order bonus to add a little more muscle in this competitive racing field this year, Namco Bandai is offering a Project Cars Modified Car Pack for absolutely free. This car pack includes a total of three cars:
- Ruf CTR3 SMS-R – A race spec version of the already impressive Ruf CTR3 super sports car created by the talented engineers at veteran developer Slightly Mad Studios. This modified version produces over 750 horsepower and a staggering 330 km/h top speed making it a truly unique combination of technical excellence and aesthetic passion.
