Marth Amiibo In Stock at Target.com with Free Shipping

Today is November 21, 2014, or for Nintendo one of the biggest launch days in the company’s recent history. Arriving on store shelves today are Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Omega Sapphire, and of course the first wave of amiibo figures.

Reports are already starting to spread around the web that GameStop was selling out of their amiibo pre-orders yesterday as gamers flocked up snatch up toy representations of their favorite Super Smash Bros. fighters. Other reports are suggesting that big retailers like Best Buy and Target are also seeing their amiibo inventory quickly gobbled up.

Checking online retailer Amazon.com reveals that all of the wave 1 amiibo figures are in stock at the time of this article except for one: Marth amiibo. That’s not surprising as he and Wii Fit Trainer are short-packed compared to the other characters. Of those two, Marth will appeal to gamers a lot more than a woman doing yoga.

You can still pick up the Marth amiibo without getting out of your chair, and not pay a penny in shipping, either. Target.com has Marth amiibo in stock right now for $12.99 ,his retail price, with free shipping. How long he’ll last we don’t know, but it’s a lot better than driving around to stores or paying triple retail from the resellers that will be gobbling him up off store shelves today.

We expect to have our Super Smash Bros. for Wii U review ready by early next week.
