Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has dropped the official LEGO Dimensions launch trailer as the third and final big toys-to-life game this holiday season behind Skylanders SuperChargers and Disney Infinity 3.0 prepares to arrive in stores this upcoming weekend.
The LEGO Dimensions launch trailer marks the first time that WB Games has really assembled all of the game’s entertainment properties into a condensed promotional video. We’re talking characters and vehicles based on DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, The LEGO Movie, LEGO Ninjago, Back to the Future, The Wizard of Oz, Scooby-Doo!, LEGO Chima, Doctor Who, Jurassic World, Ghostbusters, The Simpsons, Portal and Midway Arcade.
Batman, of course, seems to always get the best lines. What is it about a cranky and insecure superhero with anger management issues that we love so much? The trailer also includes voice work from some of the many actors portraying the bricked versions of their live-action characters for the game.
LEGO Dimensions will be available starting this Sunday, September 27 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Wii U.
