Doctor Who’s big LEGO Dimensions reveal coincides with San Diego Comic-Con and now we finally know all the details about how the popular and venerable BBC series fits into the new Toys to Life franchise, including a new Doctor Who LEGO Dimensions SDCC trailer.
The LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack will include a Doctor Who level where Daleks, Cybermen and other recognizable Whovian villains will pop up. Batman, Galdalf, Wyldstyle and any other available LEGO Dimensions characters at launch will partake in this adventure.
Sometime post-launch a Doctor Who Level Pack will be released that includes a LEGO minifigure of the 12th Doctor (voiced by Peter Capaldi) and LEGO models of the TARDIS and K-9, all playable in the game. An awesome twist occurs when the 12th Doctor is defeated; he will return as the first Doctor and must regenerate through all the Doctors in order to return to the 12th again.
Also coming in the future is as Doctor Who Fun Pack, which includes a playable Cyberman minifigure and Dalek model. All of the Doctor Who non-minifigure models can be rebuilt and played with three different ways in real life and in the game.
Last but not least, a jukebox will appear in the Doctor Who levels where players can choose which Doctor Who theme music to have playing in the background.
LEGO Dimensions arrives in stores on September 27, 2015 for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
