On Tuesday, March 1st, Disney Interactive will spell out the final product for Disney Infinity 3.0 during a special YouTube presentation. The product presented in the video by Senior Vic President and General Manager John Blackburn, as well as Vice President of Production John Vignocchi, is expected to arrive in stores later the same month.
We already know the Marvel Battlegrounds Play Set is due in stores on March 15th, and thanks to a retailer leak we know that several additional Marvel figures plucked from Marvel’s Cinematic Universe will accompany the Play Set for its launch.
Expect the reveal of at least one figure tied to Disney’s upcoming live-action The Jungle Book film directed by John Favreau. That figure was also leaked. Zootopia’s previously revealed two upcoming figures should also appear in the presentation.
The big question mark is whether Disney Interactive will reveal last fall’s fan choice figure, Peter Pan. I’m thinking yes, and if so his reveal will be the big takeaway from the Disney Infinity Next presentation.
