Batman: Arkham Knight is still a ways off from its anticipated June, 2015 release date, but that doesn’t mean Rocksteady Studios doesn’t have some great new footage from the game to show off. In fact they do, and the first in a three-part new Batman: Arkham Knight gameplay series takes a deep dive into Ace Chemicals.
In this roughly 3 1/2 minutes of Batman: Arkham Knight gameplay footage, the Dark Knight is tasked with infiltrating Ace Chemicals, which has been taken over by the Arkham Knight and his goons under the direction of Scarecrow. Batman will need to use a combination of his fighting skills and the Batmobile to get inside, rescue the Ace Chemicals employee hostages, and confront the Arkham Knight.
One of the new game features, the “Fear Takedown,” can be spotted in the gameplay trailer as Batman fights the Knight’s henchmen. Just don’t try to make too much sense of the footage as it doesn’t appear to be edited in chronological order.
The second part of the Batman: Arkham Knight Ace Chemicals gameplay series will debut on December 1 at 9am EST exclusively at the official Batman: Arkham Knight website.
