I was only able to play for about 90 minutes last night, 45 of which were creating my character. Story is great, audio is awesome, graphics(so far) are stuck in 2006 . Now keep in mind I haven't hit any combat or creatures yet, but the graphics are lacking by 2009 standards from what I've seen. I know once I've really sunk into the quests and story, the visuals will be less important....but obviously it's the first thing you pay attention to as you first play.

3.5hours in. Graphics have significantly improved. I was worried in the beginning. The character management is huge in this game, and I've finally hit some combat. Great fun for RPG fans. It really reminds of Guild Wars....where it's super deep and complicated, yet accessible. Does that make sense?

6 hours in. My own group was just raped by zombie knights Time to rethink my tactics.

10 hours in........and I'm still struggling to find the "fun" factor in this game. Visuals have gone down hill again.

What's not working for you so far? Is it a story thing or more to do with game mechanics?

I think that it may now be moved from my "buy at some point when you have money" list to my "rent at some point when you have money" list...

The story and themes are excellent but everytime it tries to draw you in, one of the presentation/mechanic flaws pushes you back out. Right now, the big thing I can't stand is the fact that your main character doesn't talk. Why would Bioware do this in a game with so much spoken dialogue? It completely removes you from the experience when you have some 5 minute conversation while you stand there looking like a poorly modeled idiot. I would have never expected something like that from Bioware.
