Default Star Trek

Been listening to the commentary for awhile now. It's a great one you will want to put the extra time into. And the film looks and sounds stunning as expected. Now onto the bonus features... review will be published (fingers crossed) tomorrow.

Looking forward to hearing what you make of the release - the extras sound like they ought to be incredible!

So far they are (taking a quick bathroom break). I will be working on them for quite a bit more. Thank goodness for laptops so I can write and watch simultaneously. It is already must buy and I am not even halfway through the extras. My only gripe thus far are the branching pods that convolute navigation a little. I prefer more straightforward navigation. That's more a personal preference.

After getting lost on Snow White's Hyperion Studios menu (or lack thereof) I'm all for navigational simplicity! Glad to hear that the film seems to have received the release it deserves though.

Phew. Shawn pitched in his movie commentary from the theatrical review.

There are multiple featurettes with the Klingons but do not expect to see full facial make-up as they are wearing Samurai-type masks.
