American Dad has been renewed for a sixth season by Fox (source: THR) meaning that all three Seth MacFarlane will be returning next year.

TV dates announced for the broadcast of the next Dr Who TV movie - Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars airs on BBC AMERICA, Saturday December 19, 9:00pm ET/PT. There will be another two with David Tennant (dates TBD) before the Eleventh Doctor's era begins next year.

Negotiations have been concluded for TNT to pick up Southland which NBC canceled a month or so ago. They will broadcast the 7 Season 1 eps, followed by the 6 unseen Season 2 eps and then will make a decision about whether to order more. The show will be broadcast in a 10pm slot which would put it opposite NBC's Leno Show.

CBS has ordered another 5 episodes of Accidentally on Purpose today, while ABC will be using unseen footage from reality show, The Shark Tank, to create another handful of episodes for broadcast later this season.

The Hollywood Reporter is saying that CBS have cut back on their order of Numbers episodes from 22 to 16, a move that makes it unlikely that the show will be renewed.

Beefncheddar - I'm glad to see Community renewed as well. I think the series has yet to really hit its stride but anything that gives us a weekly dose of Ken Jeong is more than worth watching IMO.

The Hollywood Reporter is saying that ABC's picked up Christian Slater's Tuesday night crime drama 'The Forgotten' for another 5 episodes and also decided against ordering more episodes of 'Eastwick'.
