Paramount has jumped into the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray party in a big way with catalog titles Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness, both from director J.J. Abrams. These 4K Blu-ray titles, the 10th and 11th Star Trek films for those keeping track, were released on June 14th and will both make great additions to any 4K Blu-ray library.
Each Star Trek 4K Blu-ray includes the feature film on 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray and Digital HD. The 4K Blu-ray version has been remastered in 4K video with high dynamic range (HDR) and Dolby Atmos audio specifically for home theater viewing. All the legacy bonus features from the previous release are included on the inclusive Blu-ray Disc version.
