History and executive producer Michael Hirst’s Vikings Season 4 is headed to Blu-ray and DVD on October 4th with a twist that none of the previous three season releases included.
It appears as if Fox Home Entertainment will be splitting Vikings Season 4 into two distinct home video releases based on the Vikings Season 4 Volume 1 Blu-ray and DVD name. A second volume containing the remaining episodes is expected to arrive at a later date.
Vikings Season 4 Volume 1 on Blu-ray will span three discs. Each episode will be presented in 1.85:1 1080p video with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
Bonus features on both the Blu-ray and DVD (where noted) editions of Vikings Season 4 Volume 1 include the following:
- The Transformation of Rollo (Available on Blu-ray & DVD)
- The Viking Seafaring Prowess (Available on Blu-ray & DVD)
- The Sons Of Ragnar Interactive Piece (Available on Blu-ray)
