‘Red’ and ‘Red 2’ are 4K Blu-ray Bound This Fall

Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren and John Malkovich rewrite the rules of retirement in Red and its sequel Red 2, both of which are 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray bound this fall.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has set September 5th as the Red 4K and Red 2 4K release date. That’s the same day the studio is dropping The Cabin in the Woods on 4K.

Both titles will feature HDR, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos Audio. Inclusive bonus features are found on the Blu-ray Disc that will also be accompanied by a Digital HD copy.

Red bonus features:

  • Audio Commentary with Retired CIA Field Officer Robert Baer
  • Deleted and Extended Scenes

Red 2 bonus features:

  • “The Red 2 Experience” Featurette
  • Gag Reel
  • Deleted Scenes
